Jeanette has been immersed in art for most of her life, finding inspiration in the complexity of emotions, the human body, and the natural world. With a diverse background that includes roles as an office manager, face painter, virtual assistant, and graphic designer—and even working a while in drywall repair—she brings a rich tapestry of life experiences to her creative work. As an environmental and agriculture educator with Holistic Management International, Jeanette is passionate about sustainability and the intersection of humanity and nature. Her journey with mental health, including struggles with anxiety and depression, deeply informs her art, making it both personal and universally resonant.
Art is where I find connection—with myself, others, and the world around me. My work often explores themes of resilience, vulnerability, and the delicate balances between nature and humanity, chaos and order. Inspired by my journey with mental illness, I aim to create pieces that evoke both introspection and hope. As an environmental educator, my art also reflects my love for the earth and my belief in the importance of sustainable living. As I’ve begun to overcome these challenges, my recent works have shifted to embrace lightheartedness, vibrant colors, and a sense of playfulness, mirroring my evolving outlook on life. Join me in exploring new horizons of my artistic journey.
